Arab League countries, including Saudi Arabia, Egypt and the UAE severed diplomatic ties with Qatar following Bahrain which ended contacts with Doha, the capital of Qatar.
The main reason the Arab League cut off the relationship because Qatar accused of supporting terrorist groups and interfere in the affairs of other countries.
Termination of diplomatic relations with Qatar announced the Bahrain government early this morning local time. Not only that, Bahrain also decided to reduce air and sea transportation links with Doha. Even the government gave 14 days for the citizens of Qatar to leave their country soon.
Meanwhile, Riyadh also did the same thing by breaking the relationship of land, sea and air transportation with Qatar. This was expressed by the Saudi government in an official statement of national security protection.
The Saudi coalition also announced that Qatar's participation in military operations in Yemen has been canceled. The coalition claims that Qatar has been supporting Al-Qaeda terrorist groups and the Islamic State of Iraq and Sham (ISIS).
Then Egypt joined the country and cut off diplomatic ties including closing down all ports and airports for Qatar's ships and planes.
"The government of the Republic of Egypt decided to end diplomatic relations with Qatar because of the continuing hostilities between the authorities of Qatar and Egypt," the interior ministry statement quoted the Russian Today website as saying on Monday (5/6).
Following three other countries, the UAE also cut off diplomatic relations with Qatar on the grounds that it supports, finances and embraces terrorist, extremist and sectarian organizations.
"The country is undermining regional stability," the UAE state news agency told Reuters.
As a form of realization, the UAE gave 48 hours for the Qatari diplomat to leave his territory
