Berry angriawan / hardianto couples following the women's doubles of Gresia polli / Apriani Rahayu won the Thailand Open 2017 after ending the men's double resistance Raphael Beck / Peter Kaesbauer in the final at Nimibutr Stadium, Bangkok.
The Indonesian couple only took 38 minutes to end the adventure of the German couple.
At the start of the first game, they were 11-5 up fast, but were tightly stuck on 15-17. However, they eventually returned to their game to close the game with 21-16.
In the second game, Berry / Hardianto did not want to lose momentum by playing fast and beautiful in front of the net to press Raphael / Peter to a far superior 11-6 then end their resistance at 21-16.
This is the second title for Indonesia in this Grand Prix Gold tournament after Greysia Polii / Apriyani Rahayu subdued the host couple Chayanit Chadalam / Phataimas Muenwong.
This title also became the second grand prix gold title Berry / Hardianto after winning Malaysia Masters 2017 ago.
Indonesia is still likely to add titles from the men's singles number through Jonatan Christie who will face Sai Praneeth B of India.
