Speaking during an interview with German media, Frankfurter Allgemeinen Sonntagszeitung, Gabriel describes the ongoing crisis in the Arab world at the moment is very dramatic.
"Isolation of Doha by key players such as Saudi Arabia and its allies poses the danger of this conflict could be a war," Gabriel said in the interview, as quoted by Russia Today on Sunday (11/6).
However, he said after talks with officials from several states, including Saudi Arabia and Turkey, and with Iran and Kuwait, concluded, despite the seriousness of the situation, he believes there is a good chance of preventing further escalation.
