Koln - EasyJet airline plane route Ljubljana, Slovenia to London, UK transferred to Cologne, Germany after suspicious talks related to terrorism on planes. Three passengers were then arrested.
Several passengers told the flight attendants that there were men talking about terrorism activities. The contents of the conversation are not elaborated. So reported by AFP on Sunday (11/06/2017).
The pilot then decided to land in Cologne, Germany at 1800 local time. Police evacuated 151 passengers through an emergency exit. Three male male passengers were then arrested.
A bag owned by three men was then secured. The bag was detonated by a bomb squad team.
The three passengers who were arrested were then handed over to the Koln police. No information about the contents of the bag nor whether there is a bomb threat to the plane.
Traffic at Cologne airport was disrupted for 3 hours. There are 10 flights transferred and 20 departures are pending.
