DOHA - Saudi Arabia's announcement to sever diplomatic ties with Qatar has left panicked Doha residents. On the same day, the residents suddenly out of his house. All ran to the nearest and biggest supermarket.

With the severance of diplomatic ties between Saudi and Qatar, it means that all the cooperation that exists has come to a halt. Qatar and Saudi have been sharing the same land trade routes. Qatar also imports many items from the Arab Gulf country. From Saudi alone, for example, Qatar gets the supply of chicken. That's just imported from Arabia. Not yet from another country.
It is worth noting, after the Arab Kingdom broke with Qatar, six other countries also left Qatar. The six countries, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Bahrain, Egypt, Yemen, Libya and the Maldives.
In addition to imports that need to be considered also the income of foreign exchange through the export of Qatar to the six countries above. Qatar has been aggressively exporting machinery, electronic equipment and other transportation through the Saudis. Based on the UN report, Qatar's export cooperation with Saudi Arabia reached USD896 million or Rp12 trillion in 2015.
Basically, the Qatari government has asked its citizens not to panic in response to the termination of this relationship. In fact, the government is convinced it will use all efforts so that it does not harm the society and economy of Qatar. However, residents are already panicked and make Monday 5 June the busiest day in all corners of the domestic supermarket.
