GAZA - Officials of the Hamas resistance movement say the movement is keenly aware of not being in any country line. It refers to the crisis between some Arab countries with Qatar.
"The Al-Qassam Brigades, the Hamas military wing, and the Palestinian resistance are careful not to do so," the deputy head of the Gaza Hamas movement, Khalil al-Hayya, told Xinhua News
He said this during the funeral of a Hamas militant, who was killed in an accident at a military training camp belonging to the armed wing of Hamas in the town of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip.
"We must unite the nation and avoid all disputes through unity and understanding, so it will be a lifting of Palestine and anger for our Zionist enemies," he said.
He also called on the media not to include or encourage the name of Hamas and the Palestinian resistance into such issues to divide the country and the resistance.
"We are on our way to Jerusalem, our enemy is known, and our weapons are directed at the Zionist occupation, and not against others," he added.
On Monday, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Egypt, Yemen and Libya severed diplomatic ties with Qatar. The countries accuse Qatar of supporting terrorism and terrorist groups, disrupting the region and involving internal affairs of Gulf Cooperation Council nations.
