Praise be to Allah, Rabb of the Worlds. Shalawat and greetings to our Prophet Muhammad, his family and his best friend.
The month of Ramadan is indeed a blessed month, meaning to bring about a great deal of goodness. The good that Muslims earn in the month of Ramadan can include ukhrowi and worldly. Let us see in this month of Ramadan so much goodness ukhrowi obtained every Muslim. Among the blessings is to run shiyam ramadhan will get forgiveness of sins that have been past. Another blessing is in the evening prayer (tarawih prayer). It is also the cause of the forgiveness of sins. Similarly, in the month of Ramadan there is a better night than 1000 months, namely lailatul qadar. This is among the blessings ukhrowi that can be obtained. But there is one other side of goodness, which is no less important, the month of Ramadan is a good time to improve so that after the month of Ramadan someone can be better than before. This discussion will be reviewed in this simple paper.
Goodness Door Eased in Ramadan
From Abu Hurairah radhiyallahu 'anhu, he said that the Prophet sallallaahu' alaihi wa sallam said,
"On the first night of the month of Ramadan devils and evil spirits are bound, the doors of hell are closed, none of the doors are opened and the doors of heaven are opened, not a single door is closed; : "O you who wish for the good of haste (to obedience), O who expect bad / evil stop". Allah has the servants who survived the fires of hell on every night of Ramadan. "[1]
In another hadith mentioned,
"When Ramadan comes, the doors of heaven are opened, the gates of hell are closed, and the demons are shackled." [2]
Al Qodhi 'Iyadh said, "The above hadith can be meaningful, the opening of the door of heaven and the closing of the door of Jahannam as the shadows of demons as a sign of the month of Ramadan and the glorious moon." Al Qodhi' Iyadh continued, "It can also mean the opening of heaven's door because Allah facilitates various obedience to His servants in the month of Ramadan such as fasting and evening prayer. This is different from other months. In the month of Ramadan, people will be more busy doing good than doing immoral. This is because they can enter heaven and its doors. As for the closing of the gates of hell and the shackles of the devil, this is what causes a person to easily evade the sin of the moment. "[3]
To the extent that because of the wide openness of this door of goodness, the scholars say that the rewards of any deeds in the month of Ramadan will be multiplied [4]. As we can see in the words of the following salaf scholars.
Teachers from Abu Bakr bin Maryam rahimahumullah once said, "If it comes to Ramadan, be eager to give alms. Because charity on the moon more doubled its reward like someone alms in the way of Allah (fii sabilillah). The reward of praying tasbih (dhikr "subhanallah") is more afdhol than a thousand readings of tasbih in other months. "[5]
An Nakho'i rahimahullah said, "Fasting a day in the month of Ramadan is more afdhol than fasting in a thousand other days. Similarly, one recitation of tasbih (dhikr "subhanallah") in the month of Ramadan is more afdhol than a thousand readings of tasbih on another day. So is the reward of one rak'ah prayer in the month of Ramadan is better than a thousand raka'at in other months. "[6]
So we can see for ourselves in the month of Ramadan, the person who was originally lazy to pray five times, finally become diligent. People who are very rarely seen in the mosque, re-aware of running the prayers jama'ah. People who rarely do night prayers, so active in the month of Ramadan to run tarawih prayer. People who occasionally read the Qur'an, in the month of Ramadan can finally mengkhatamkan Al Qur'an. It's really amazing this month because it's so easy for everyone to do good.
The Amount of Forgiveness of Sin
In some deeds in the month of Ramadan, we can find in it the forgiveness of sins. Among the practice is the fasting that we run. Prophet muhammad sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam said,
"Whoever fasts in the month of Ramadan by faith and hopes for the reward of God, his past sins must be forgiven." [7] The forgiveness of sins here can be obtained if one keeps himself from the limits of God and the things that should be preserved. 8]
Similarly, in the practice of tarawih prayer, there is also the remission of sins. Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam said,
"Whoever does qiyam Ramadan (tarawih prayer) by faith and seek reward, then his past sins will be forgiven." [9]
Whoever revives the night lailatul qadar with the practice of prayer, will also get the remission of sins as the
Prophet Muhammad sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam,
"Whoever performs the prayers on the lailatul qadar by faith and wishes the reward of Allah, his past sins will be forgiven." [10] The forgiveness of sins in the above hadiths is intended for minor sins as the majority opinion of the ulama. [11]
Because of the many forgiveness of sins in this holy month, Qotadah also said, "Anyone who does not get the forgiveness of sins in the month of Ramadan, then really on another day it will be difficult to get forgiveness." [12]
Circumstances Above Ramadan
After we know some of the practices in the month of Ramadan that can eliminate sin, also the door of goodness is facilitated, then the circumstances of a person after Ramadan should be in a state like a newborn baby, which is clean from sin. But on this condition, one must repent of the great sin that he had once inflicted on it, he repented with great regret.
Take a look at Az Zuhri's saying, "When the feast of Eid al-Fitr, many people will go out into the field where the prayers are performed, Allah will also witness them. Allah will also say, "O my servant, your fast is for Me, your prayers in the month of Ramadan are for Me, Come back to You in My Mercy."
Other Salaf scholars say to some of their brothers when performing the prayers in the field, "Today a people has returned in a state just as their mother gave birth to them." [13]
It Should Keep Good Practices
When out the month of Ramadan should every human being be better than the previous month because he had been forged in the madrassa of Ramadan to leave various kinds of immoral and easy to perform virtue. People who used to be lazy to pray 5 times should be aware and routinely do it outside the month of Ramadan. Also in the matter of prayers for the Jama'ah men, can also be dirutinkan done in the mosque as diligently performed during the month of Ramadan. Similarly, in the month of Ramadan many Muslim women who try to use veils that close themselves, then outside the month of Ramadan should be kept, even more refined as the guidance of Islam.
Prophet Muhammad sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam said,
"(Know that) the practice most beloved by God is a continuous practice (ajeg) although little." [14]
Should the charity of a believer then ends when death comes to pick up. Al-Hassan Al-Bashri (may Allaah be upon him) said: Allah (swt) is not making a (final) term for the deeds of a believer other than his death. "Then Al-Hasan reads Allah's word,
"And worship your Lord until it comes unto you al yaqin (ie death)." (Surat Al Hijr: 99). [15] Az Zujaaj said that the meaning of this verse is to worship God forever. Other scholars say, "Worship Allah not at certain times". If indeed the point is so of course people who do worship once, then he has been called a devout person. But Allah Ta'ala says (which means), "Worship Allah until death". This shows that worship is commanded forever for life. [16]
Worship and practice of obedience is not like a flower that blooms at certain times. So, the five times prayer, the prayer jama'ah, night prayer, charity and dressing muslimah, is not so seasonal worship. But it should be outside the month of Ramadan is also maintained.
Asy Syibliy was once asked, "Which month is more important, Rajab or Sha'ban?" He replied, "Be Rabbaniyyin and do not become Sya'baniyyin." The point is to be a devoted Rabbaniy servant in every month of the year and not just In the month of Sha'ban alone. We (the authors) can also say, "Be Rabbaniyyin and do not become Romadhoniyyin." [17]
That is, worship continuously throughout the year and not just in the month of Ramadan alone.
Consider the words of Ibn Rajab, "Whoever performs and completes an obedience, then among the receipt of the practice is facilitated to perform other deeds of obedience. And among the signs of rejection a practice is to commit disobedience after doing the practice of obedience. If a person performs obedience after having committed an ugliness, then this good will wipe out the ugliness. What is great is to include obedience after doing the previous obedience. While the most ugly is doing ugliness after previously doing the practice of obedience. Remember that one sin committed after repenting is worse than the 70 sins committed before repentance. ... Ask God to be confirmed in obedience until death picks up. And seek refuge in God from a heart that is swayed. "[18]
The scholars also said, "The ugly people are the ones who know God (diligently worship, pen) only in Ramadan."
Remember also the message of Ka'ab bin Malik, "Whoever fasts in the month of Ramadan then plucked in his heart that after escaping from Ramadan would do immoral to his Rabb, then really fasting is rejected (not worth anything)." [19]
May Allah make our Ramadan this year more meaningful than ever. May we always get the baroque of this holy month. Amen, Yaa Samii'um Mujiib.
